The Container Terminal was appointed by the Port of Melbourne to design, construct and operate Australia’s first fully automated container terminal.

It’s unique location on the bay side of the West Gate Bridge, means faster turnaround time for imports and exports with easier berthing for larger vessels. The A-FLO Projects Team was approached to design and manufacture a suitable oil system to service the operations straddlers. The unique and challenging height requirement of these units, means they required customised gantries to mount the servicing Hose Reels and Control Guns.

Due to the close proximity to the water, the A-FLO Projects Team designed a Lube Container to house the Bulk Oil Storage Tanks safely.
