Diesel Systems

AFLO Diesel Systems

AFLO’s Diesel Systems bring together everything you need for clean, compliant storage and fast, reliable refuelling across fleets, farms, construction, civil and mining. Choose from self-bunded fuel tanks (double-walled diesel tanks) and compact cube fuel tanks for tight yards, through to containerised Fueltainer units for bulk storage, plus lightweight poly refuellers for mobile top-ups. Round out your setup with the right hardware—diesel transfer pumps (12/24/240V), 10-micron filtration with water separation, digital diesel flow meters, automatic tank gauges / high-level alarms, diesel hose reels, and fuel management systems—so fuel stays clean, dispensing is accurate, and usage is fully traceable.

What’s in the range

  • Bulk Diesel Tanks: Fuelcube and Fuelbox self-bunded tanks, Farm Refueller single-skin diesel tanks, poly refuellers (single-skin and self-bunded), and Fueltainer containerised tanks; Combo Diesel/AdBlue (DEF) options with segregated compartments.
  • Transfer Pumps: Electric diesel transfer pumps in 12V/24V/240V, high-flow depot pumps, and matched nozzles for duty cycle and fluid type.
  • Hose Reels & Hoses: Diesel hose reels, industrial hose reels, air/oxy reels, and 25 mm fuel hose for tidy, safe dispensing.
  • Meters, Gauging & Monitoring: Digital fuel flow meters, mechanical meters, automatic tank gauges, high-level alarms, and remote fuel tank monitoring.
  • Filtration & Water Separation: 10 μm particulate filters, water-separating elements, bulk fuel filtration for clean, engine-safe diesel.
  • Fuel Management Systems (FMS): Control who dispenses what, where and when—user/vehicle identification, transaction logs and reporting.
  • AdBlue (DEF) Equipment: AdBlue tanks, pumps, hoses and nozzles with DEF-compatible seals and plastics.
  • Drum Pumps & Handling: Hand, pneumatic and electric drum pumps for diesel, oil and chemicals; trolleys/dollies and drum bunding.
  • Spill Control & Bunding: Steel and poly bunds, spill pallets, absorbents and site containment.
  • Mobile Tanks & Trailers: Portable diesel storage and trailer solutions for field refuelling.
  • Workshop Solutions: Benches, mechanical workshop equipment, compressed air lines and exhaust extraction systems.

How to choose (quick guide)

  • Capacity & duty cycle: Align tank size to weekly consumption and delivery frequency; many fleets select 2,000–10,000 L for on-site efficiency.
  • Containment: Self-bunded (double-walled) tanks simplify compliance and spill management; use single-skin where separate bunding and controls are provided.
  • Pumping power: 12/24V for vehicles and remote sites; 240V for depots; high-flow for plant and heavy equipment.
  • Fuel quality: Specify 10-micron filtration with water separation from day one.
  • Measurement & control: Add digital meters, automatic tank gauges / high-level alarms, and FMS to improve accuracy, accountability and security.
  • Fluids: Keep Diesel and AdBlue (DEF) separate; use Combo units with segregated compartments and DEF-rated components.

Benefits at a glance

  • Compliance-ready: Self-bunded designs and proper monitoring support Australian requirements (e.g., AS1940 guidance).
  • Uptime & longevity: Clean fuel, correct pumps, and protected dispensing reduce breakdowns and downtime.
  • Traceability: Meters and FMS deliver accurate records for cost allocation, audits and fleet reporting.
  • Scalability: From compact cubes to containerised bulk tanks, grow capacity without re-engineering your site.

FAQs

What is a self-bunded fuel tank?
A self-bunded tank is a double-walled diesel tank with an integrated outer bund that contains leaks or overfill, reducing environmental risk and simplifying approvals.

Can I store Diesel and AdBlue (DEF) in the same unit?
Yes—use Combo Diesel/AdBlue systems with segregated compartments and DEF-compatible components to prevent contamination.

Do I need single-skin or self-bunded?
Use single-skin where a compliant external bund is in place. Choose self-bunded for simpler installs and spill control in most above-ground applications.

Which pump do I need?
Match power to the site: 12/24V for vehicles/mobile, 240V for depots, and high-flow where you’re refuelling plant or multiple trucks back-to-back.

What should I add to a new tank?
Standard add-ons include 10 μm filtration with water separation, a digital flow meter, automatic tank gauge/high-level alarm, diesel hose reel and, for control, a fuel management system.
