What grease guns does A-FLO supply?

A-FLO supplies ULTRAFLO standard and heavy duty lever action guns in 400g and 450g, standard pistol grip guns in both sizes, a 450g air operated gun, a push type gun, Speedy grease guns in 400g and 450g, the RAASM gun with flexible outlet and Z swivel, and the GRACO Pro-Shot dispense valve.

What is the difference between lever action and pistol grip?

A lever action gun uses a long handle to generate higher pressure, which is what moves grease into stiff or partially blocked fittings, but it needs two hands. A pistol grip operates one-handed, which suits awkward access and overhead work, at lower developed pressure.

When is an air operated grease gun worth it?

On long lubrication rounds. Hand fatigue on a manual gun leads to points being rushed or skipped, so an air operated gun such as the 450g AF-AP-1161 improves consistency where there are many fittings to service.

What is the difference between 400g and 450g guns?

It refers to the grease cartridge size the gun accepts. Both are common in Australia, and A-FLO stocks guns in both across the lever action and pistol grip ranges so a workshop can standardise on whichever cartridge it buys.

What helps with hard to reach grease fittings?

A flexible outlet and a swivel let the coupler reach and seat on fittings at awkward angles. The RAASM gun, AF-RA-66889, is supplied with a flexible outlet, Z swivel and 4-jaw coupler for exactly that, and A-FLO also stocks swivels and extensions separately.

Overview

Lever or Pistol Grip Is Not a Preference

A lever action gun uses a long handle to generate high pressure, which is what shifts grease into a stiff or partially blocked fitting. It needs two hands. A pistol grip works one-handed, which matters when the other hand is holding a torch, steadying a ladder or bracing on machinery — but it develops less pressure.

Most workshops need both, and an air operated gun as well once lubrication rounds get long enough that hand fatigue starts causing missed points. A-FLO stocks all three formats in 400g and 450g so a site can match the gun to the round rather than to what happened to be in stock.

Choosing a grease gun

Lever action — highest pressure, two-handed, for stiff fittings and cold grease
Heavy duty lever action — where guns are used constantly or on high-resistance points
Pistol grip — one-handed operation for awkward access and overhead work
Air operated — long lubrication rounds where hand fatigue leads to missed points
