Most people asking this question expect a number of litres. Why Diesel Is Treated Differently from Petrol

Transport of dangerous goods by road in Australia is governed by the Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road & Rail — usually just called the ADG Code — which is given legal force through each state and territory's own dangerous goods legislation.

If your operation involves carrying petrol in anything beyond small consumer quantities, get the requirements from your state's dangerous goods authority before you buy equipment. Specifying the tank first and the compliance second is the expensive order to do it in. The same applies to any fuel whose flash point you have not actually checked.
