What self bunded AdBlue tanks does A-FLO supply?

A-FLO supplies BlueMaster round tanks in 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 litre capacities in both Pro Fleet and Retail Forecourt configurations, plus the Bluequip SB 10,000 litre containerised slimline tank.

What is the difference between Pro Fleet and Retail Forecourt?

Pro Fleet tanks are configured for depots and yards dispensing to their own vehicles and plant. Retail Forecourt tanks are configured for public-facing forecourt dispensing. Both are available across the same capacity range.

Why does AdBlue need a bunded tank?

A release of AdBlue crystallises as it dries and corrodes incompatible metals it contacts, and at bulk volumes represents a significant loss of product and clean-up cost. Self bunded construction builds containment into the tank structure so no separate bund needs to be constructed.

What capacity AdBlue tank do I need?

AdBlue consumption typically runs at around 3 to 5 percent of diesel consumption. Because AdBlue has a finite shelf life, capacity should be sized so the tank cycles regularly rather than holding product for extended periods. A-FLO can size it against your diesel usage.

What if I do not have room for a round tank?

The Bluequip SB 10,000 litre containerised slimline tank, AF-BS-SS10, offers the same capacity in a slimline containerised format for sites where footprint or transport dimensions are the constraint.

Overview

Bunding Matters More for AdBlue Than People Expect

AdBlue is not hazardous in the way diesel is, which leads sites to treat containment as optional. It is not. A release crystallises as it dries, corrodes any incompatible metal it reaches, and 10,000 litres of it going somewhere unintended is still a substantial clean-up and a substantial loss of product.

Self bunded construction builds that containment into the tank so no separate bund has to be built, and keeps the unit relocatable. A-FLO supplies the range in two configurations because a fleet depot filling its own trucks and a retail forecourt selling to the public have genuinely different requirements.

Pro Fleet or Retail Forecourt

Pro Fleet — for depots and yards dispensing to their own vehicles and plant
Retail Forecourt — configured for public-facing forecourt dispensing
Containerised slimline — where footprint or transport dimensions are the limiting factor
Capacity to turnover — AdBlue has a finite shelf life, so size the tank to cycle it
