What is an automatic tank gauging (ATG) system?

An automatic tank gauging (ATG) system continuously measures the level of fuel in a storage tank using a probe inserted through the tank top, and displays or transmits this data in real time. ATG systems provide precise fuel level readings, replace manual dipping, support overfill protection and enable remote monitoring — improving safety and operational efficiency for diesel, AdBlue, oil and coolant tanks.

What ATG products does A-FLO supply?

A-FLO supplies the Leveltrack 360 Series ATG, Fluidtrack Tank Gauging Module with single probes in 3m and 4m lengths, the PIUSI BSmart Watchdog OCIO Digital Level Gauge 2.0 for diesel, and the PIUSI BSmart Tank Watchdog. These systems are suited to diesel, AdBlue, oil, coolant and waste oil monitoring applications.

Can A-FLO's ATG systems support remote monitoring?

Yes. A-FLO's Fluidtrack and Leveltrack ATG systems support remote tank level monitoring — transmitting real-time data to a centralised dashboard so operators can monitor diesel and fluid tank levels across multiple sites from any location, without manual inspection.

What fluids can A-FLO ATG probes monitor?

A-FLO's ATG probes and gauging systems can monitor diesel, AdBlue (DEF), engine oil, coolant and waste oil — making them suitable for complete fluid management across a depot or industrial facility.

What probe lengths are available for A-FLO ATG systems?

A-FLO supplies Fluidtrack ATG probes in 3-metre and 4-metre lengths, fitted with 2" BSP threaded bushings for standard tank top installation. Additional probe lengths may be available — contact A-FLO for your specific tank depth requirements.

Overview

What Automatic Tank Gauging Does for Your Operation

Manual tank dipping is time-consuming, imprecise and a potential safety risk — especially for operators managing multiple tanks or tanks in hard-to-access locations. Automatic tank gauging (ATG) replaces the dipstick with a permanent level probe and a digital readout, giving you accurate, real-time fuel level data at the gauge or via a remote dashboard.

Precise Level Measurement

ATG probes continuously measure fluid level with far greater accuracy than manual dipping — giving you reliable inventory data for ordering, reporting and compliance.

Overfill & Low-Level Alerts

Digital level gauges trigger alarms at high and low setpoints — preventing costly overfills during delivery and alerting operators before tanks run dry during operations.

Remote & Multi-Site Monitoring

Fluidtrack and Leveltrack systems transmit level data to a centralised web dashboard — enabling visibility across multiple tanks and sites without manual inspection visits.
