Double-wall steel construction with 110% secondary containment. Complete systems — pump, filtration, fuel management — supplied and installed nationally.
Self Bunded Tanks Explained
A self bunded fuel tank is a tank within a tank. The inner steel wall stores the fuel; the outer wall acts as an integrated bund, providing at least 110% secondary containment. If the inner tank leaks, fuel is captured within the outer wall — preventing environmental contamination and site incidents.
This double-wall design eliminates the need for a separate civil bund, concrete pad, or engineered bunding infrastructure. That means faster installation, lower site preparation costs, and a significantly simpler compliance pathway — particularly for AS 1940 and state EPA requirements.
For most Australian operations — farms, transport yards, mine sites, construction projects — a self bunded tank is the default choice. It's compliant, relocatable, and ready to work from the day it's installed.
Inner tank stores fuel. Outer wall is the integrated bund — no separate civil works required.
The bund volume exceeds the inner tank capacity, meeting AS 1940 and EPA requirements for above-ground fuel storage.
Self-bunded tanks streamline EPA and council approvals — no engineered bund wall or concrete pad required on site.
No underground works. Self bunded tanks can be moved with your operation — ideal for construction, mining, and remote sites.
Self Bunded Tank Range
Self Bunded · Steel
Compact cube design built for tight yards, workshop depots, and fleet refuelling where footprint matters. Available with full pump and filtration packages.
Rectangular self-bunded diesel tanks suited to permanent above-ground installations. Easy service access and configurable pump bay options.
Containerised · Self Bunded
Relocatable self-bunded diesel storage in a containerised format. Ideal for remote mine sites and civil projects where the tank needs to move with the operation.
Self Bunded · Poly
Lightweight self-bunded poly tanks for mobile, trailer-mounted, and agricultural refuelling applications where weight and relocatability are priorities.
Self Bunded · Combo
Segregated compartment systems with DEF-compatible hardware. Diesel and AdBlue stored in one unit — never cross-contaminated. Ideal for modern diesel fleets.
Self Bunded · Generator
Purpose-built diesel storage for backup generators and emergency power. Day tank and bulk supply configurations for data centres, hospitals, and critical infrastructure.
